About
Welcome to Silk Tales — where silk meets art.
The spark for this journey began in Soufli, Greece, where I first experienced the beauty of sericulture — the centuries-old craft of silk farming. I was captivated by the beauty of transforming something so delicate and soft, like a silk cocoon, into timeless, wearable art. That is how I began creating hand-painted jewelry and, later, silk scarves — each design telling a beautiful story.
With a background in art conservation and restoration, and just a few art classes along the way, I taught myself this craft from the ground up. Every piece I create is rooted in tradition and shaped by my love for art and history, honoring the rich cultural heritage of Soufli — the first European station on the ancient Silk Road.
Through my work, I aim to keep tradition alive and help people bring a piece of art into their everyday lives. I want my customers to feel special and expressive — like each piece was made just for them.
I currently work alone, supported by my loving family, and I pour that care into every creation.
